This stunning glass bead belt was handmade by Franziska Neusser in Vienna from high-quality glass beads and cotton yarn.
In the traditional technique of crocheting glass beads, 2 millimeter glass beads are threaded onto cotton yarn. For one centimeter of finished necklace, 50 beads are used.
Each glass bead is individually crocheted into a tube shape with a diameter of 10 millimeters. The ends of the belt are tulip-shaped with tassels.
